I'm April, a lifelong passionate outdoorsman! I've been sleeping in treestands and wandering the woods since I was but a little squeak following my dad around.

I started fishing with my dad in the winter on a thin long rainbow trout lake near my home. We had a cattle farm and no boat, so summer fishing was foreign to me until 2015 when I met my husband who was no stranger to open water fishing. It only took one season of fishing with him and my friend Melissa to have me completely hooked.

Since 2016 I started taking on more volunteer roles within the outdoor industry that help me feel more connected to the outdoors every day. My goal is to help make the outdoors and it's activities more accessible to those who are new to the outdoors or those who need that extra nudge to believe they can succeed in their plans and activities.
